RDC-1 #560:  Built by Budd with s.n. #5107 as NYS&W # M-3, later CRRNJ and NJT #560.  Car was test operated several years ago, but restoration has not proceeded past that point.  The car was re-engined with Cummins diesel engine and Twin Disc transmissions by GE/Hornell in 1979 for NJT.  Glazing is non-FRA and the interior requires a complete refurbishing. Baggage racks are missing.  One bathroom area remains in the car, but is not equipped with a toilet at this time. One spare engine/transmission and a spare engine block will be included in the sale.  COT&S is out of date.  Sale of #560 is pending at this time.

RDC-1 #6146:  Built by Budd with s.n. # 6215 as B&M #6146.  Car does not have engines or Spicer gear boxes, but other underbody components are still on car, as is most of the electrical equipment.  Glazing is heavily fogged Lexan and interior has not been restored.  Baggage rack are missing.  Trucks are General Steel. Car was used for a time as a locomotive-pulled coach. Air conditioning equipment and other major items are still on car. COT&S is out of date.

RDC-9 # 6004:  Built by Budd with s.n. #6420 as B&M #6919, later CN #D504, and then VIA #6004.  VIA removed stainless steel fluting from car sides prior to disposition.  This is an RDC-9 which has only one Detroit Diesel 6-110 engines and Spicer gear box. Trucks are General Steel. Interior has not been cleaned out; car has revolving reclining seats that obviously need reupholstering.  A second set of similar seats is also contained in the car.  Electrical lockers appear to be basically complete.  COT&S is out of date.

Spare Components:  Major items include:

·          Several spare electrical generators

·          Several spare motors for air conditioning and air compressors.

·          Spare brake cylinders and D-22 brake valves.

·          Carrier 5F-40 air conditioning unit, including electric motor.

·          Carrier 3F-40 air conditioning compressor.

·          Heating water pumps.

·          Two RTO Detroit Diesel 6-110 engines and six engine/transmission hulks.

Other Support Items:

·          Engine dolly to replace engine and transmission assemblies on car.

·          Engine repair stand, including transmission dolly.

·          Single car air brake test device.

·          Tachometer for Detroit Diesel 6-110 engines.

The company has other equipment related to the operation of RDCs that will be sold at the same time.  It is anticipated that the spare parts and support equipment will be preferentially offered for sale to the purchaser of the three-car set.  The Other Equipment includes:
